How it works

The unit uses Victron's multi-point MPPT algorithm to track the peak power point of the connected array, which helps in changing light conditions where a fixed-voltage controller would lose available energy. Series-wired panel strings up to 150V reduce cable losses and give more flexibility in array layout.

Monitoring and configuration

This model has no Bluetooth. Setup and monitoring go through the VE.Direct port, using a VE.Direct cable with a Color Control GX, Cerbo GX or a PC running VictronConnect. Anyone wanting wireless monitoring should look at Victron's SmartSolar range instead.

Applications

Used in off-grid cabins, marine and narrowboat systems, motorhomes with series-wired panels, and rural or small commercial battery banks connected to Victron GX monitoring equipment.
