Description
The Pylontech LV Hub is a communication hub for 48V battery banks that need more than 16 US-series batteries connected in parallel. It handles RS485 and CAN communication between the connected battery groups and the inverter, so the BMS can manage the whole bank correctly once it grows past the 16-unit limit.

Applications
Fits large Pylontech battery banks that exceed 16 units in a 48V system. Used in commercial and high-capacity residential off-grid and hybrid installations where multiple battery piles need to communicate as one bank.
Why it's needed
Without the LV Hub, the BMS cannot correctly manage systems above 16 units. Adding a hub for every 5 additional piles keeps communication between the battery groups and the inverter working as the bank scales up.
