The Victron BlueSolar MPPT 75/10 is a solar charge controller for small 12V and 24V battery systems. It accepts a maximum PV open-circuit voltage of 75V and delivers up to 10A of charge current, suiting compact off-grid setups, caravans, boats and remote power installations. Its MPPT algorithm extracts more usable energy from a solar panel than a conventional PWM controller, particularly in cold or overcast conditions.

Monitoring and configuration

The controller pairs with the VictronConnect app via an optional VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart dongle, letting you check charge status and adjust settings without opening the enclosure. Charge algorithm settings can also be adjusted through the VE.Direct interface using a USB cable accessory.

Applications

Caravans and motorhomes with a single rooftop panel and leisure battery. Narrowboats and small sailing vessels with a 12V or 24V house bank. Remote off-grid cabins, outbuildings, telecommunications or monitoring equipment powered by a small solar array, and educational or demonstration installations.

Installation notes

Fitting should be carried out by someone familiar with 12V and 24V DC wiring. Check the PV array's open-circuit voltage stays within 75V under all conditions, including cold weather which raises panel Voc, and connect the battery before the solar panels. This controller is not intended for grid-connected systems.
