Product overview

A glass mat separator holds the electrolyte in place instead of letting it pool freely. That removes the risk of acid spillage, avoids topping up with distilled water, and gives more freedom over how the battery sits during installation.

Deep cycle construction means the battery is built to be discharged to a significant depth repeatedly, unlike a starter battery tuned for short bursts of current. At 38Ah (C20) it fits small off-grid systems, caravan and motorhome auxiliary power, marine house banks, and UPS or backup applications that see regular cycling.

Installation notes

Fit and wire this battery only if you're competent with 12V DC systems. Set the charger or charge controller to an AGM-compatible profile: a gel or flooded profile will shorten its cycle life. When building a bank, match batteries by type, age and capacity, and keep ventilation adequate even though the cells are sealed. For solar PV or inverter integration, use a qualified electrician.
