The Victron SmartSolar MPPT 150/70-Tr VE.Can is a solar charge controller rated for a 150V PV input and 70A charge current. It is built for off-grid and battery-based solar installations that need VE.Can network integration alongside Victron's MPPT charging algorithm.

Applications

It also fits commercial and agricultural off-grid sites built on Victron's system architecture with VRM monitoring, larger residential off-grid setups networked via VE.Can, and motorhome or vehicle conversions using higher-voltage PV arrays with lithium battery banks.

Installation notes
Array design must keep PV open-circuit voltage within the 150V limit, including under cold-temperature conditions. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician or accredited solar installer familiar with DC system design and Victron equipment. VE.Can wiring needs correct termination resistors fitted at each end of the bus, and any generator or hybrid grid-tied setup should be configured and commissioned by a competent person.
