The Pylontech Fidus Pro FB-L-5.12-EU-Pro is a low-voltage lithium battery for solar storage, built on the LiFePO4 chemistry that underpins the well-known US5000C platform. It adds stronger environmental protection, self-heating, modern monitoring and an IP65 anti-corrosive housing for installations that go beyond a standard indoor rack.

Nominal capacity is 5.12kWh with intelligent BMS protection, suiting residential solar storage, off-grid systems, backup power, hybrid inverter setups, garages, outbuildings and plant rooms.

Cold weather and housing

The heating system can bring the battery from -20°C to at least 5°C in approximately 2 hours, depending on system power availability and operating conditions. The IP65 housing and C5-M anti-corrosion coating suit garages, utility rooms, outbuildings, workshops and covered outdoor or dusty locations where a standard indoor-only battery would struggle.

Installation and expansion

The Fidus Pro can be wall-mounted, rack-mounted or installed in a floor-standing stacked arrangement, depending on accessories used. One unit gives 5.12kWh; larger systems can combine up to 20 batteries per string and up to 6 strings with the correct communication hub.

Installation notes

• Installation must be carried out by a competent and qualified installer
