The Victron MultiPlus-II 24/3000/70-32 GX is a power inverter charger that combines an inverter, a battery charger and a transfer switch with an integrated GX controller, built for 24V battery systems. It suits off-grid installations, backup power setups and self-consumption systems where monitoring and control need to sit inside a single enclosure rather than a separate box.

Applications

Fits off-grid cabins, lodges and remote buildings that need a self-contained power system, and marine or vehicle installations on 24V systems needing 230V AC. It also works as backup power for critical loads requiring a fast transfer from grid to battery, in grid-tied ESS installations with battery storage, and in generator-assisted systems where PowerAssist extends what a small generator can carry.

Installation notes

Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician or accredited installer, since the unit combines 24V DC high current battery connections with 230V AC mains. Grid-connected ESS use in the UK requires G98 or G99 compliance, configured through the Victron ESS assistant with the correct grid code settings before the unit is connected. Battery chemistry and capacity settings must be configured to match the battery bank fitted. Unit weight is 20kg.
