Product overview

The inverter side produces a true sine wave output, so it works with sensitive electronics and motor loads. The charger uses an adaptive four-stage algorithm, bulk, absorption, float and storage, adjusting to battery condition to reduce overcharging.

PowerAssist helps where the AC supply is limited, such as a small generator or a shore connection with a low current limit. Rather than tripping the supply when loads exceed the input, the unit draws the shortfall from the battery bank. That means a smaller generator can be used without shedding load. The 30A transfer switch hands over between external AC and inverter output quickly enough for most computers and sensitive equipment.

Installation notes

Fit this by a qualified electrician familiar with DC battery systems and AC wiring regulations. The battery bank must be correctly rated with appropriately sized DC cabling and fusing. Any grid or generator connection should meet local wiring regulations and, where applicable, G98 or G99 requirements. VEConfigure software lets you set charge parameters, input current limits and system behaviour for the installation.
