The Hytronik HC005/BT is a microwave motion sensor that switches LED lighting on and off using Bluetooth, with control from a mobile phone via the Koolmesh app. It works with single fittings or in groups using the 5.0 SIG Mesh Application, removing the need for hardwired switching between luminaires.

How the microwave motion sensor works

The sensor detects movement and turns lighting on, switching off again once a pre-selected hold time has passed with no motion detected. A built-in daylight sensor can also disable the light when there is enough natural light in the space, and this photocell function can be switched on or off as needed.

Bluetooth app control

Setup and commissioning is handled through the Koolmesh app, which also supports grouping luminaires into a mesh network, three scene types, detailed sensor settings, scheduling by time and date, and an astro timer for sunrise and sunset. The system retains settings after a power loss, supports offline commissioning and network sharing, and can receive firmware updates over the air.

Suitable for typical indoor spaces such as offices, classrooms, car parks, warehouses and other commercial or industrial areas where wireless lighting control is preferred over hardwired switching.
