The Euchips EUP40A-1HMC-1 is a 40W constant current LED driver built for indoor lighting installations that need reliable 1-10V dimming. Output current is selected using an onboard DIP switch, giving eight current settings from 850mA to 1200mA, so a single driver covers a range of fittings.

1-10v led driver dimming and control

Dimming works through 0/1-10V active signal, PWM signal or adjustable resistance, giving installers three ways to control the same driver. Output adjusts smoothly and proportionally from 0.1% up to 100%, dimming right down to off, with no flicker across the range. If no dimming signal is connected the driver runs at 100% output, so it also works as a standard non-dimmable power supply when required.

The IP20 rating and PC housing suit fittings mounted inside luminaires rather than exposed outdoor use, and the driver operates in ambient temperatures from -20°C to 50°C.

Build and lifetime

The housing measures 137 x 82 x 31mm. Rated lifetime is 30,000 hours at tc 80°C, with a switch cycle rating above 15,000 operations, and the driver carries a 3 year warranty.
