Description
This black 2-gang switched socket includes 2 USB Type A charging ports, letting you power a plug and charge a device from the same faceplate. Rated at 13A, it suits kitchens, living rooms and bedrooms wherever wall sockets and light switches need an extra charging point built in.

- Overload protection, each USB port has an internal safety feature against overload or short circuits.
- Safety shutter, operated by the earth pin of the plug.
- Switching contact gap, minimum 3mm.
- Terminals, angled, in-line terminals with backed-out captive screws for easier wiring.
- Earthing, twin earth fitted as standard.
Design and installation
The socket has a raised slim profile with outboard rockers, and fits a 40mm back box. The captive screws and angled terminals make it a straightforward retrofit where an existing single or double socket is being upgraded.

Suited to charging iPads, iPhones, tablets, mobiles, cameras, MP3 players and similar devices, without needing a separate USB adaptor plugged into the socket.
