Description
The Victron Busbar 150A 2-Pole is a dual-pole DC distribution busbar rated at 150A, supplied with 10 fixing screws and a protective cover. It gives you a single, low-resistance point for terminating multiple positive and negative cable runs in a battery bank or DC panel, instead of wiring each circuit back to the battery individually.
Key features
- Current rating, 150A continuous
- Configuration, 2-pole, handling positive and negative rails from one component
- Fixing screws, 10 supplied for securing cable lugs
- Cover, protective cover included to guard against accidental contact with live conductors
- Weight, 0.148kg
Product overview
Running several circuits from a battery bank without a busbar usually means a tangle of point-to-point cabling. This busbar consolidates those connections onto a single rail, and because it covers both poles in one unit the wiring stays tidy on both sides. The 150A rating suits systems built around larger loads, including installations using Victron Multiplus or Quattro inverters, charge controllers and battery management systems. The included cover reduces the risk of short circuits or accidental contact once the system is live.
Applications
Suited to DC distribution in off-grid and hybrid solar installations, battery wiring in van, motorhome and marine 12V or 24V systems, and any enclosure or panel where several DC circuits originate from a common rail.

Installation notes
Fit this busbar as part of a DC system only if you're competent to do so, or have it installed by a qualified electrician. Torque connections correctly, fit the protective cover before energising the system, and disconnect all power sources before working on the busbar or any connected circuits. Follow BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) and any system-specific requirements that apply to your installation.
