Product overview

The IP67 rating suits installation in engine bays, bilges and outdoor enclosures where moisture, condensation or spray are a concern. It can be left permanently connected, as storage mode reduces voltage once the battery is full and maintains an optimal standby level.

Bluetooth is built directly into the unit. Through VictronConnect, an installer or end user can view charge status, adjust the algorithm, set battery capacity, and review historical data, removing the need for a separate display on single-battery installations. A battery safe mode is included for deeply discharged batteries that a standard charger would reject.

The 12/13 model delivers 13A into a 12V battery, appropriate for battery banks up to approximately 200Ah. For larger banks, Victron's higher-current IP67 models in the same range should be considered.

Installation notes

Connects directly to a standard UK 230V mains socket via the supplied BS 1363 plug. Check output leads are correctly connected to the battery terminals, observing polarity. The IP67 enclosure resists moisture and spray but should not be submerged continuously or fitted in permanently flooded locations. For lithium batteries, confirm the correct charge profile is selected in VictronConnect before use. No specialist certification is required for a plug-in installation, though any fixed wiring should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
