Product overview

LiFePO4 cells tolerate deep cycling without the degradation seen in lead-acid alternatives, and don't need the same float maintenance regime. This 25.6V configuration suits 24V systems common in marine, vehicle and mid-scale off-grid installs.

A compatible Victron Battery Management System is required to manage over-charge, over-discharge and over-temperature protection. This is not a drop-in swap for lead-acid without the correct BMS and charger set-up, so installers should confirm compatibility before specifying it. At 18.5kg it's manageable for one person to fit in most cases; take care in confined or overhead mounting positions. Multiple units can be paralleled to expand capacity, following Victron's published guidance for the NG series.

Installation notes

This battery must be installed with a compatible Victron BMS by a qualified installer experienced with lithium systems. Incorrect wiring or an absent BMS can damage cells or create a safety hazard.
