The Victron Digital Multi Control 200/200A is a remote control panel for Victron MultiPlus and Quattro inverter/chargers. It lets installers and operators adjust the shore power input current limit and switch the inverter/charger between operating modes from a panel-mounted position, without opening up the unit itself.

Applications

The input limit control suits marine, motorhome and off-grid cabin systems where shore or generator power is limited. Dialling down the current limit stops the supply being overloaded while the inverter/charger keeps passing AC power and charging the battery bank. Because the knob is a physical control, no laptop, phone or VE.Bus connection is needed to use it day to day.

The panel is a fixed installation, not a handheld unit. Mount it where the operator needs access, such as a helm station or distribution board, while the MultiPlus or Quattro itself sits in a less accessible compartment.

Installation notes

Fit this by a qualified electrician or accredited installer familiar with Victron VE.Bus systems. It connects to the inverter/charger through the RJ45 remote panel port, so check compatibility with your specific MultiPlus or Quattro model beforehand. In grid-connected systems the inverter/charger itself must meet G98 or G99 requirements as applicable; the control panel does not change that compliance status.
