Applications
Fitted between the battery positive terminal and the main DC load or inverter input, the fuse protects wiring and connected equipment in the event of a short circuit or sustained overload. It suits Victron and third-party inverters on 12V or 24V systems, off-grid solar battery banks, marine DC circuits and motorhome leisure battery installations. MEGA-fuses are consumable components and should be replaced after any fault event rather than reused.
Installation notes
Install in a MEGA fuseholder rated for the current and voltage in use, positioned as close to the battery positive terminal as practicable. Match the cable rating to the fuse rating and do not exceed the 32V DC voltage limit. Installation by a qualified electrician is recommended for inverter and battery work in solar PV systems.
