Description
The Victron Energy MEGA-fuse 400A/32V is a high-current blade-style fuse for 32V DC systems, supplied in a pack of five. It suits battery protection circuits, inverter installations and other high-current DC applications that need reliable overcurrent protection.
Mega fuse key features
- Current rating, 400A, suited to large inverter installations.
- Voltage rating, 32V DC, covering 12V and 24V battery systems.
- Format, MEGA blade fuse, compatible with standard MEGA fuseholders including Victron's own range.

Applications
Used as main battery fuse protection for 12V and 24V inverter installations, on battery-to-busbar connections in off-grid solar systems, in marine DC distribution boards, and in motorhome or commercial vehicle power systems. Also supplied as replacement fuses for existing MEGA fuseholder installations.
Installation notes
Fit the fuse in a compatible MEGA fuseholder rated for the application voltage and current, positioned close to the battery positive terminal to protect the full cable run. Torque the fuseholder connections to the manufacturer's specification to avoid resistance heating at the joint. Isolate the battery before replacing a fuse.
