Description
The Victron MEGA-Fuse 250A/58V is a high-current blade-style fuse for overcurrent protection in 48V battery systems. It fits a compatible MEGA fuseholder and is used in solar, off-grid and marine DC circuits that need a clearly rated protection point.

Applications
This fuse is typically fitted on the main DC feed between a 48V battery bank and an inverter or inverter/charger such as a MultiPlus or Quattro, where the cable and equipment ratings call for a defined fault current limit. It also works as a replacement in existing MEGA fuseholder installations, and suits off-grid solar, marine and vehicle systems running at 48V nominal.
Installation notes
Fit the fuse only in a fuseholder rated for at least 58V DC and 250A. Isolate the battery bank before installing or replacing it. If CIP137250010 is unavailable, Victron's listed alternative is CIP138250020, but check the fuseholder rating matches before swapping. Do not substitute a higher current rating, as this removes the intended protection.
