How it fits into a Lynx system

Each output takes its own ANL or MEGA fuse, so a fault on one circuit does not affect the others. That is a tidier and safer arrangement than running several cables straight off a battery terminal block. The M10 bolts suit the heavy-gauge cabling used in high-current DC systems, and the module can be mounted alongside other Lynx components on a DIN rail or panel. Fuses stay visible and replaceable without disturbing neighbouring connections.

Applications

The Lynx platform is common in marine, vehicle and off-grid installations where several inverters, chargers or DC loads draw from one battery bank. The Distributor handles the individual fused circuit outputs within that setup, whether in an off-grid solar system, a boat's electrical installation, a motorhome conversion, or a commercial battery storage system.

Installation notes

Fit by a qualified electrician or experienced system integrator familiar with high-current DC work. Fuses are not included and must be chosen to match each circuit's current rating. Cable sizing, fuse ratings and busbar connections should meet the relevant wiring regulations for the installation, BS 7671 for UK work or the applicable marine or vehicle standard. Systems above 48V need specialist installation.
