Overview

The "(1+si)" designation means one main output plus a small isolated output, so a secondary battery such as a starter battery gets a maintenance charge alongside the primary bank. This suits marine and vehicle setups where two banks need charging from a single unit. Temperature-compensated charging adjusts the charge voltage to ambient conditions to protect battery life.
