The Victron Smart IP43 Charger 24/25(1+1) is a mains-powered battery charger built for trade and professional installations. Product overview

The (1+1) designation means two independent outputs: the 25A main channel for the primary 24V bank, and an isolated 4A output for a starter or service battery charged at the same time. That removes the need for a separate trickle charger in dual-battery setups.

Bluetooth is built into the unit rather than added by a dongle. Through VictronConnect, installers can check charge state, voltage, current and fault conditions remotely, and adjust battery type or absorption settings during commissioning. A storage mode lowers float voltage during long idle periods, and temperature-compensated charging is available with an optional temperature sensor.

Installation notes

Fit by a qualified electrician or competent marine or vehicle electrician. The AC supply must be correctly fused and comply with BS 7671 for fixed mains connections in the UK; marine installs should follow the relevant onboard wiring standards. IP43 suits engine rooms, vehicle bays and bilge areas with some moisture or dust exposure, but the unit is not submersible and should not be rained on directly. Confirm battery chemistry before selecting a charge profile; it is not suitable for lithium chemistries unless Victron documentation confirms it for that battery type.
