PowerAssist and PowerControl

PowerAssist draws extra current from the battery bank when a limited AC source, a small generator for instance, cannot cover the load on its own. That means the generator does not need to be sized for peak demand. PowerControl works the other way round, holding the charger current back so the AC input is never overloaded.

System integration

Because the unit speaks VE.Bus, it links directly into a Victron GX device such as a Cerbo GX or CCGX for full monitoring.
