Why use a busbar

A busbar consolidates multiple cable connections onto a single rated conductor instead of running individual cables back to a battery terminal or main fuse. Each load connects to the busbar, which is fed by one main cable. This cuts down terminal congestion and makes fault-finding easier. The 250A rating means it can carry the combined draw of several high-load circuits at once, suitable for systems running inverters, chargers and DC-DC converters together.

Applications

Used in off-grid solar installations with multiple loads, marine and narrowboat wiring, motorhome and vehicle conversions with high-current DC systems, and battery cabinet wiring in energy storage installations. Installation notes
