Product overview

This unit shares the VE.Bus architecture used across Victron's MultiPlus and Quattro ranges. VE.Bus lets multiple Victron devices communicate over a single cable, supporting system-level configuration and remote monitoring, and parallel or three-phase operation with compatible units. For installers already working within a Victron system, that makes integration straightforward.

The 24V input suits larger off-grid battery banks where a 24V nominal system is preferred over 12V, reducing cable losses and allowing more practical wire sizing at higher currents. At 1600VA it can run lighting circuits, small power tools, refrigeration and entertainment equipment, depending on the battery bank available.

This is a standalone inverter, not a charger-inverter. Battery charging is handled separately, for example by a dedicated MPPT charge controller, keeping the installation modular so each part can be sized on its own.
