Product overview
The Smart BMS CL 12-100 is Victron's battery management system for 12V lithium (LiFePO4) batteries. It controls load disconnection and sends charge permission signals to connected Victron equipment. The MultiPlus needs the correct allow-to-charge signal from the BMS to stay within the battery's limits, and this cable is what carries that signal.
An incorrect or improvised connection between the BMS and MultiPlus can mean the MultiPlus ignores BMS protection commands, risking overcharging or over-discharging of the lithium battery. This OEM cable gives the correct pinout and connector type for both ends, so that risk is removed.
