The Blue Smart IP65 range uses a fully sealed, splash-resistant housing rather than an open-frame or ventilated design. Bluetooth via VictronConnect gives access to charge status, battery voltage, current and history from a phone. Presets can be saved for AGM, gel, flooded lead-acid or LiFePO4, so there's no need for DIP switches or guesswork when switching battery types. The seven-stage algorithm includes a recondition phase that can recover deeply discharged or sulphated lead-acid batteries a simpler charger would reject. Once full, the unit moves to maintenance float and then storage mode if left connected, cutting the risk of overcharge during lay-up.
