The Victron Blue Smart IP22 12/20(3) is a mains-powered battery charger that delivers 20A across three separate outputs on a 12V system. It suits installers and anyone running more than one battery bank from a single charger, whether on a boat, a vehicle or an off-grid setup. Bluetooth is built in, so the whole unit can be monitored and configured without any extra hardware.

Storage and temperature management

Storage mode drops the float voltage after 24 hours to reduce battery degradation on units left charging long-term. An optional external temperature sensor allows temperature-compensated charging where fitted.

Installation notes

Connect to a 230V AC mains supply via the fitted CEE 7/7 plug, on a circuit rated and protected appropriately. Wire DC connections to the battery terminals with correct polarity and fusing on each output. For LiFePO4 batteries, confirm the battery BMS supports the charger's lithium profile before use. IP22 rating means it should not be installed where exposed to direct rain or submersion. For permanent marine or vehicle installations, use a qualified electrician or accredited marine electrician.
