The Victron Blue Smart IP22 12/15 is a single-output 230V battery charger for 12V battery banks, delivering 15A of charge current through a standard CEE 7/7 Schuko plug. Built-in Bluetooth lets you monitor and configure the charger from a phone, with no separate dongle needed.

The seven-stage charge process adjusts absorption time to how discharged the battery was, reducing unnecessary stress during shallow cycles. That makes it suited to both daily cycling and infrequent seasonal use. Storage mode keeps batteries at the correct voltage during long standby periods without overcharging.

With Bluetooth built into the unit, an installer or owner selects the correct battery preset in VictronConnect, checks charge state, and reviews charge history without opening the enclosure. Useful where the charger sits somewhere awkward to reach.

Where it fits

The IP22 rating covers protection against solid objects larger than 12.5mm and vertically dripping water. It's built for fixed indoor locations: battery rooms, workshops, plant rooms and vehicle bays. It is not rated for outdoor or exposed wet conditions.
