How the charging cycle works

Bulk phase delivers the full 15A output. Absorption holds voltage steady while current tapers off, then float keeps the battery topped up without overcharging. A storage mode drops voltage further to reduce wear during long standby periods, which suits seasonal vehicles and backup systems that sit connected for months at a time.

The VictronConnect app handles everything over Bluetooth: live charge current, voltage, charge state, battery type selection and charge history, all without a separate module. A battery-safe mode limits current when a battery is deeply discharged, protecting anything sensitive wired to it.

Installation notes
