Product overview

The IP67 rating separates this charger from standard workshop units. It withstands submersion in up to one metre of water for 30 minutes, so it can be fitted in bilge areas, underseat vehicle spaces or outdoor enclosures without an additional protective housing.

Bluetooth is built into the unit itself. An installer views charge status, adjusts battery presets and reviews history through VictronConnect, with no separate display or hardware needed. For lithium batteries, select the correct preset in the app before use.

The 7-stage algorithm runs the full charge cycle from bulk through to long-term storage, dropping to a storage voltage after float to reduce grid consumption and protect the battery during idle periods.

Installation notes

Connect the fitted BS 1363 plug directly to a standard UK 230V socket. DC connections to the battery should use appropriately rated cable and fusing per the battery manufacturer's guidance. Lithium installations require the correct preset set in VictronConnect before the charger is put into service. The IP67 rating gives strong protection, but the unit should still be mounted somewhere ventilated rather than in a sealed, airless box. A qualified auto-electrician or marine electrician should carry out permanent vehicle or marine DC wiring.
