The Victron Blue Smart IP22 24/16 is a single-output 230V battery charger built for 24V lead-acid and lithium battery banks. It plugs straight into the mains via a CEE 7/7 (Schuko) connector, and Bluetooth is built in rather than added as a dongle, so you get full monitoring and configuration from a phone.

Absorption time adjusts to actual battery condition rather than a fixed timer, so a partially discharged battery isn't overcharged while a deeply discharged one gets the full cycle it needs. The recondition phase helps recover stratified or sulphated lead-acid batteries, useful for anything left in storage over a season. Charge algorithm and battery presets, including custom voltage thresholds, are all set through VictronConnect. Temperature-compensated charging is available with an optional sensor accessory.

Applications

Suited to 24V battery banks in motorhomes, caravans and campervans, marine leisure batteries on boats in covered berths, workshop and fleet vehicle charging, and standby power systems needing a reliable float and storage cycle. The IP22 rating covers covered outdoor areas, garages and vehicle bays where some moisture exposure is possible, but it isn't for direct rain or fully wet locations. This is a single-output unit for one battery bank; Victron makes multi-output versions in the same range for multiple banks.
