The Victron Blue Smart IP65 12/10 is a single-output battery charger rated at 12V 10A, built with Bluetooth connectivity for trade and vehicle use. Its IP65 enclosure copes with damp or dusty environments where a standard charger would not be suitable.

Product overview
The sealed, splash-resistant housing allows fitting in engine bays, battery compartments and outbuildings where moisture and dust are a concern. VictronConnect gives real-time visibility of charge state, voltage, current and fault codes from a phone, with charge profiles that can be set for different battery chemistries and capacities. There's no need for a separate monitoring device or laptop during commissioning.
The 10A output matches 12V battery banks from roughly 50Ah to 200Ah, covering most leisure vehicle, motorhome, boat and small off-grid installations. It ships in retail packaging with the DC output connector included.

Installation notes
The charger connects to a 230V AC mains supply via the supplied CEE 7/16 plug. The mains circuit should be protected by an appropriate MCB, with adequate ventilation around the unit. The DC output connector should be wired to the battery terminals using cable rated for the 10A output. For vehicle or marine installs, DC wiring should comply with relevant standards such as BS EN ISO 13297 for marine work. Straightforward self-installation is fine, but any work on the mains supply should be done by a qualified electrician.
