Why isolation matters on shore power

Marina and campsite supplies are not always clean or correctly earthed. A direct link between shore earth and a hull sets up a galvanic cell with nearby metalwork underwater, speeding up corrosion of anodes, propellers and through-hull fittings. This transformer removes that path by fully isolating the shore supply from the onboard AC circuit.

Installation notes
