The Varilight V-Pro JSP401 is a 1 gang, 1 or 2 way dimmer switch finished in brushed steel. It handles a single LED lighting load of 0-120W, covering up to 10 LEDs, and is built with a push-on-off button paired with a rotary dimming control.

Compatibility

V-Pro is built for the wide majority of dimmable LEDs on the market, and it also works with halogen and incandescent lighting and dimmable transformers where no minimum load is required. Varilight state that for a given LED load, their dimmers offer the best performance available.

2-way and 3-way circuits

This dimmer is a 2-way switch, meaning it can be paired with a standard 2-way switch so a lighting point is controlled from two locations. It cannot itself be dimmed from two locations. For 3-way switching an intermediate switch is needed in the circuit. Where dimming from multiple locations is required, Varilight's Touch and Multipoint Touch range is the better fit, and the V-Pro Multipoint Touch system allows the same light or lights to be dimmed from several places.
