The Elios 11kW is a three-phase on-grid solar inverter built for commercial and industrial PV systems on a 400VAC supply. It converts solar DC power for self-consumption or grid export, with built-in export limitation via three-phase CT current sensors and Wi-Fi monitoring for remote diagnostics.

Applications

Suited to commercial and industrial three-phase grid-connected solar PV installations, particularly where the DNO requires export limitation or zero export. The three-phase CT sensor fits in the consumer unit and measures consumption across all three phases, so the inverter can throttle output to stay within the agreed limit. It also meets UK and European anti-islanding requirements, shutting down automatically if the grid supply is interrupted. The unit is G100 compliant.

Installation notes

Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician or MCS-accredited solar installer. Three-phase grid-connected inverters in the UK require a G99 application and DNO approval before connection. DC isolators, AC protection, surge protection and earthing must comply with BS 7671, and CT sensors must be fitted in the consumer unit by a qualified electrician. This is not a DIY installation.
