Description

Thermofix & Thermocoll are high-temperature heat resistant adhesives designed for fixing stove ropes, seals, ceramic fibre, and refractory materials in demanding high-heat environments. Commonly used on AGA cookers, wood burners, stoves, furnaces, and heating appliances, these adhesives provide a strong, durable bond capable of withstanding temperatures up to 1100°C.

Manufactured using a specialist formula containing alkaline silicates and mineral compounds, they offer excellent adhesion to fibrous insulation materials, metals, refractory products, and building materials.

Application Instructions

  1. Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from grease or dust
  2. Apply adhesive using a spatula, trowel, or directly into the fixing channel
  3. Position the rope, seal, or refractory material firmly into place
  4. Apply pressure for several seconds to ensure proper adhesion
  5. Allow to dry for approximately 48 hours at room temperature
  6. Gradually increase heat during first use – avoid direct flame contact initially

👉 Excess material can be cleaned with water before curing.
