This T8 LED tube brings motion detection straight into a 150cm fitting. Rated at 22 Watt with an integrated photocell and natural white output, it switches on automatically when someone enters the space and adjusts itself once they leave.

Energy savings

It helps cut unnecessary electricity use, because it only runs at full brightness when someone is present. It suits parking garages, warehouses, offices, corridors and factories, where lights would otherwise stay switched on continuously.

2-step dimming

When movement is detected, the tube switches to full brightness. Once the selected hold time has passed with no further movement, it drops to the standby brightness you have chosen and stays there until movement is detected again, then returns to full brightness straight away.

Detection uses the Doppler principle: a microwave signal is transmitted and reflected back to the sensor to pick up movement from people, vehicles and other objects. Maximum sensing height is 10 metres, with a detection radius of up to 25 metres.

Photocell and dimming

The photocell means the tube won't fire up unnecessarily during daylight hours, and the tube itself is not dimmable outside of its own sensor-driven modes.
