Dimming methods

This t8 led tube dimmable fitting supports several widely used dimming methods. AC Triac dimming (mains dimming with trailing edge dimmer switches) is the simplest, needing only an external driver and no extra wiring: the mains dimmer controls the input voltage to the LED driver directly. It works with Varilight, Lutron and Osram switches.

Meanwell and GLACIAL 3 in 1 dimming covers 1-10V and resistive potentiometer control, using a pair of control cables with positive and negative polarity. DALI control is also supported, using an external driver with multi stage constant current output and DIP switch adjustment for high-precision dimming and lamp diagnostics.

Applications

Suited to retrofitting existing T8 fittings and battens where dimming is wanted alongside standard wall switches or dimmer controls, in offices, retail and domestic settings.
