The Ledison T8 LED Dimmable Tube measures 120cm (1214mm) and draws 20W, giving 2300lm of output. It dims smoothly from 10% up to 100% with no flicker, using standard dimmer switches such as Varilight. An external LED driver is included in the box.

Dimming methods

The tube works with an external driver supporting three common dimming approaches. AC Triac dimming (leading or trailing edge) is the simplest, using the mains live and neutral wires with no extra cabling, and is compatible with switches such as Varilight, Lutron and Osram. A 1-10V or resistive potentiometer signal is also supported, using a separate pair of control cables. DALI control is available too, where an external driver with multi-stage constant current output adjusts brightness via DIP switches for high-precision control.

When ordering a dimmable tube, let us know by email which dimmer type you plan to use, AC Triac or 1-10V signal, so the correct driver is supplied.

Applications

Suited to retrofitting existing T8 fittings and battens where dimming control is wanted, in offices, retail spaces or domestic settings. The compact external driver, around 85 x 54 x 32.5mm, fits into most standard fixtures.
