Isolation and installation

Because primary and secondary windings share a connection, this unit does not isolate input from output electrically. Where isolation is a safety or regulatory requirement, a separate isolation transformer is needed instead. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician, with wiring and overcurrent protection rated for the full 32A load on both sides.
