The S6-EA1P5K-L connects at the consumer unit on the AC side, reading grid import and export through a current transformer. It charges the battery from solar, from the grid during low-tariff periods, or from both, without touching the existing inverter or DC wiring. Firmware updates and battery monitoring run remotely through SolisCloud, and non-communicating lithium batteries are supported for flexible configuration.

Installation notes

Grid connection requires G98 or G99 compliance in the UK, depending on combined system size. Installation must be carried out by a qualified MCS-accredited installer, with battery type and communication protocol configured at commissioning.
