The Solis Mini 700-4G is a compact 0.7kW single-phase grid-tie solar inverter built for small PV installations. It converts DC power from the array into 230V/50Hz AC for use in the property or export to the grid, starting up at just 60V so it begins generating at first light and continues in low irradiance conditions. It carries an IP65 rating for outdoor installation.

Product overview

The dynamic MPPT tracker continuously identifies the maximum power point of the connected array, achieving above 99% MPP output regardless of panel make, cell count or configuration. The wide 0 to 8A current input range makes it compatible with modern higher-efficiency panel designs. QNS anti-islanding protection is fitted as standard, disconnecting the inverter automatically from the grid during a power failure. The unit comes with a 5-year standard warranty.

Installation and safety notes

This inverter must be installed by a qualified electrician or MCS-accredited solar installer. In the UK, G98 notification to the DNO is required before grid connection, and all DC isolators, AC protection and earthing must comply with BS 7671 and the applicable MCS installation standard. Do not attempt DIY connection of grid-tied equipment.
