The Solis S6-EH1P8K-L-PLUS is an 8kW single phase hybrid inverter for residential solar PV and battery storage. It uses dual MPPT trackers with 32A MPPT input current and supports a PV array of up to 16kW, making it suitable for larger domestic installations with high-output panels.

Time-of-use tariffs

The 6-stage timed charge function lets you set charging periods to align with low-tariff windows such as Octopus Agile or Economy 7, then set discharge for peak periods. Once configured, this runs automatically without manual intervention.

Installation notes

Grid connection requires G98 or G99 compliance in the UK depending on system size. Installation must be carried out by a qualified MCS-accredited installer, with battery type, BMS protocol, export settings and CT clamp position configured and verified on commissioning.
