The Solis S6-EH1P6K-L-PLUS is a 6kW single phase hybrid solar inverter for residential solar and battery storage systems. It is G98 and G99 compliant and MCS certified, supporting full grid export, controlled export and 0W zero-export self-consumption. A Wi-Fi dongle and energy meter are supplied as standard.

The 6-stage timed charge and discharge function lets the battery charge overnight on a low-tariff period and discharge during peak hours, cutting grid import costs automatically. It works alongside the smart AC timer for time-of-use tariff management, including tariffs such as Octopus Agile or Economy 7.

Backup switching under 4ms is fast enough to keep power flowing to equipment that cannot tolerate an interruption, such as computers or NAS drives. Two backup ports allow smart load management, and a generator interface is included for sites needing a secondary power source.

Suited to residential solar PV and battery storage, grid-connected systems for self-consumption and peak shaving, time-of-use tariff optimisation, and properties needing UPS-grade backup for sensitive electronics. Parallel operation extends its use to small commercial single phase installations.

Installation notes

Grid connection requires G98 or G99 compliance depending on system size, and installation must be carried out by a qualified MCS-accredited installer. Battery type and BMS protocol need correct configuration before commissioning.
