Description
This complete solar charging kit gives motorhomes, campervans, caravans and boats everything needed for a 12V or 24V solar power system. It combines a 430W monocrystalline solar panel with a Victron SmartSolar MPPT 100/30 charge controller, a 150Ah 12V GEL leisure battery, 5m solar cables and a choice of mounting kit.

- Solar panel, 430W monocrystalline panel using EGing cells with average cell efficiency of 22% and above
- Charge controller, Victron SmartSolar MPPT 100/30, 100V max input, 30A charge current
- Battery detection, automatic 12V/24V voltage detection with three-stage charging
- Display, multifunction LCD on the charge controller, plus Bluetooth monitoring via the VictronConnect app
- Protection, reverse polarity, overcharge and overload protection, IP43 rated controller
- Battery included, 150Ah 12V GEL leisure battery
Applications
Suited to motorhome, campervan and caravan solar charging, boat and narrowboat leisure battery charging, off-grid cabin power, and auxiliary battery charging for vehicles and mobile installations.
Cables and mounting
The kit includes a pair of 5m solar cables (red and black) with MC4 connectors, a pair of Y-style solar connectors, and a choice of Z-style or ABS plastic mounting kit selected at checkout.

Installation notes
Check that the mounting surface can support the panel weight and wind loading, and make all electrical connections correctly and securely. Do not exceed the charge controller's maximum input voltage of 100VDC, and connect the battery with correct polarity. Read the Victron SmartSolar installation manual before commissioning.
