The Soladin 2000 is a solar-powered motion sensor light built for outdoor walls, gates and garden entrances. It gives out a low ambient glow and switches to 2000 lumen when its PIR sensor picks up movement, all without a single cable running into the house.

Because it runs entirely on solar power, you can fit as many as you like around the house or garden with no effect on your electricity bill. The light beam can be tilted vertically and rotated 180 degrees horizontally, so the LED board and PIR sensor can both be pointed exactly where you need them.

Three operating modes

M1 gives 50 lumen ambient light with a 2000lm boost on motion. M2 stays off until motion triggers the full 2000lm. M3 holds a steady 50 lumen from dusk until dawn.

Installation

No wiring is needed, so fitting takes a matter of minutes. The manufacturer notes an installation height of 3 metres and a charging time of 20 hours, with faster top-up charging available in 4 to 5 hours. Autonomy on a full charge is stated at 10 days, and the battery can be replaced. The unit is covered by a 1 year warranty.
