Description
The Volta-Switch V-Switch is a single phase AC isolator for solar PV systems, rated to 25A or 32A at 220V to 440VAC. It is IP66 rated and certified to IEC60947-3 and AS 60947:3:2018, giving a safe manual disconnect point between the solar inverter and the AC supply on residential and commercial photovoltaic systems.

Applications
Fitted between the solar inverter and the AC supply on grid-tied PV systems to provide manual AC isolation. Also used for AC maintenance disconnection on off-grid solar installations, and suited to both residential and commercial projects.
Installation and safety notes
Install between the solar panels and inverter for DC isolation, or on the AC output for AC isolation, depending on the application. This must be installed by a qualified electrician. Do not operate under load. Installation should comply with IET Wiring Regulations.
