Product overview

This model sits at the higher end of Victron's MPPT range. The 250V PV input rating allows installers to wire more panels in series, reducing cable losses on larger roof arrays or ground-mount systems with long string runs. Battery voltage is auto-detected on first connection, and the unit supports 12V, 24V and 48V banks.

VE.Can connects directly to a Victron Cerbo GX or other GX device for full telemetry, remote monitoring via the VRM portal, and coordinated charging across multiple devices on the same CAN bus. This suits installations where a MultiPlus or Quattro inverter-charger is also present. Bluetooth is built in as standard, so an installer can set charge profiles and view live power data through VictronConnect without a separate dongle.

Installation notes

This controller operates at up to 250V DC on the PV input. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician or MCS-accredited installer familiar with high-voltage DC solar systems. PV string open-circuit voltage must not exceed 250V under any temperature condition. VE.Can termination resistors must be fitted correctly at both ends of the CAN bus network.
