Unlike switch-mode chargers, the Skylla-TG's transformer-based design gives galvanic isolation and tolerates poor or unstable mains, which suits generator-fed systems, shore power connections and industrial sites where AC quality varies. Lead-acid chemistries including AGM, gel and flooded batteries are all supported.

The adaptive charge algorithm adjusts absorption time based on the previous discharge, cutting unnecessary gassing and helping battery life. Storage mode drops the voltage to a low maintenance level when a battery sits connected without cycling for long periods. The (1) designation refers to the unit's parallel output configuration, allowing two Skylla-TG 48/25 units to be combined for higher charge current.

Installation notes
