Ideal for both freshwater and saltwater tanks, Matrix’s porous structure offers both external and internal surface areas for optimal bacteria colonisation. Unlike traditional bio-materials, Matrix supports both nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria, allowing it to simultaneously handle nitrate, ammonia, and nitrite within the same filter.
